Finance Manager – Financial Reporting & Transformation

About the role

Our client in Oxford is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, drive process automation and support finance transformation across a multinational organisation. You will coach a reporting team, ensure the integrity of balance‑sheet data and partner with senior stakeholders to provide actionable financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the financial reporting team.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles.
• Maintain accurate financial statements, balance‑sheet integrity and robust controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation and finance‑system enhancements.
• Support optimisation of finance tools, including SAP and OneStream.
• Collaborate with international finance teams to ensure consistent reporting standards.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience leading financial reporting or accounting teams.
• Strong background in management accounting, balance‑sheet reviews and multi‑entity environments.
• Experience in large, complex, multinational organisations; shared‑services exposure preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
