Finance Manager

About the role

The University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Finance Manager to join one of its clinical divisions. In this role you will support the division’s financial strategy and deliver professional, proactive financial services across a £1bn+ NHS Trust.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis of the division’s clinical and non‑clinical activities.
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts for the division.
• Support the development and execution of the division’s financial strategy.
• Deliver comprehensive financial management support to the division’s leadership team.
• Collaborate closely with the wider finance team to ensure high‑quality, timely financial information.

• Experience in a high‑performing finance environment, preferably within the NHS or large public sector organisations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
