About the role
A fantastic opportunity to work for a growing, established business in Waterlooville. You will join a small accounts team and take ownership of the finance function, delivering both day‑to‑day operational tasks and senior‑level financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Overall management of the finance function from start to finish, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, profit & loss statements, cash‑flow forecasts, budgeting and variance analysis.
- Fixed‑asset and depreciation calculations.
- Oversight of sales and purchase ledgers.
- Monthly VAT returns.
- End‑to‑end payroll and pensions administration.
- Year‑end financial preparation and liaison with external accountants, providing additional information as required.
Required profile
- Significant experience as a Finance Manager in a hands‑on environment.
- Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ICAEW.
