Finance Manager – Legal Services Firm

About the role

Join a highly regarded specialist law firm in London as a Finance Manager. You will oversee day‑to‑day financial operations while supporting strategic planning within a collaborative, high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a small finance team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Oversee banking, cash flow, credit control and billing processes.
• Maintain payroll and ensure compliance with statutory and SRA client‑money regulations.
• Support monthly management accounts, partner reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Improve systems, controls and finance processes.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in a finance management or senior finance role.
• Background in professional services, ideally legal or regulated environments.
• Confident preparing management accounts and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
