Finance Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Finance Manager to join a fast‑growing, PE‑backed manufacturing business in Bristol. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee the finances of two newly acquired businesses with a combined turnover of just under £10 million and lead a small finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes and prepare management accounts.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
• Partner with senior operational leaders to drive performance improvements.
• Ensure timely balance‑sheet reconciliations and statutory compliance.
• Support post‑acquisition integration activities, including financial integration.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or a similar industrial sector.
• Strong management accounting and financial control background.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate with operational stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Commercial awareness with a balance of strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
