Finance & Office Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Office Manager to join a well‑established UK business. This pivotal position combines finance, HR administration and office operations, giving you autonomy to support day‑to‑day activities and drive efficiency across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial activities alongside the Finance Controller, including reporting, reconciliations and general accounting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and maintaining financial controls.
• Liaise with external payroll provider, manage payroll adjustments and prepare payroll data for processing.
• Administer pension schemes and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding, maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Provide general HR support and access external employment‑law advice when required.
• Manage day‑to‑day office operations, support internal coordination and ensure compliance with record‑keeping requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Strong finance background in an all‑round role.
• Experience supporting payroll processes and pension administration.
• Working knowledge of HR processes and basic UK employment law.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

What we offer

• Salary £45,000 – £58,000 per year.
• Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm working hours.
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown.
