Finance Professional

About the role

The Finance Professional will lead the financial management of Global Rahmah Foundation, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting and strategic insight to support the charity’s mission and growth. This full‑time permanent position reports to the Operations Manager and CEO and involves occasional evening or weekend work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with senior management and the Board of Trustees.
• Produce monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow and forecasts.
• Prepare financial analysis, performance reports and board presentations.
• Monitor and allocate restricted and unrestricted funds in line with donor requirements.
• Manage invoicing, bank reconciliations, credit control, supplier payments and staff expense claims.
• Coordinate payroll information with the external payroll provider and submit Gift Aid.
• Maintain effective financial systems, controls and procedures.
• Support the annual audit as the main point of contact for external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with charity accounting standards, financial regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Experience in financial management within a charity or non‑profit environment.
• Proven ability to produce management accounts and board reports.
• Knowledge of charity accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical skills to provide financial insight for decision‑making.
