Finance Project Controller

About the role

Arcadis is seeking a Finance Project Controller to support its Arcadis Way Project Managers in the financial management of projects. The role ensures accurate revenue recognition, cost tracking, and financial forecasting across the project portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Set up projects in line with system and organisational constraints.
• Record time and costs accurately and keep contract values up‑to‑date.
• Review project performance against the Revenue Recognition process.
• Update financial forecasts and monitor work‑in‑progress.
• Oversee timesheet submission and non‑billable bookings to ensure correct revenue recording.
• Support business optimisation of ERP and related systems.
• Build trusted relationships with internal clients and provide high‑quality service.
• Liaise with Credit Control to assist cash collection.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a project or commercial finance role.
• Experience in a medium‑to‑large organisation.
• Strong attention to detail and high motivation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Part‑qualified accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
• Effective time‑management abilities.
