Finance Project Manager – Project Controller (Industrial & Manufacturing)

About the role

As a Finance Project Manager (Project Controller) you will oversee the financial performance of industrial and manufacturing projects based at Surrey Research Park. You will provide accurate financial insights, support project delivery and ensure budgets remain on track.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage project budgets, guaranteeing financial accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project teams to track progress, identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Align project costs with overall financial plans and corporate targets.
• Analyse project performance and suggest improvements.
• Maintain accurate financial records for audits and internal reviews.
• Communicate financial updates to relevant parties and support the finance team with ad‑hoc analysis.

Required profile

• Strong background in accounting or finance.
• Proven experience managing project budgets and producing financial reports.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Understanding of IFRS15.
• Exposure to SAP 4 Hana (preferred).
