Financial Accountant – International Consumer Brand

About the role
We are partnering with a leading international retail and e‑commerce brand to find a motivated Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will gain valuable experience in financial accounting while supporting a fast‑moving consumer business.
Key responsibilities
- Review profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Support senior management with statutory accounting and group consolidations.
- Contribute to corporate reporting and tax work.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and related analysis.
- Partner with financial planning and commercial teams on ad‑hoc requests.
- Provide lease accounting and financial reporting support for a large property portfolio.
Required profile
- Strong academic record with a formal accountancy qualification (or overseas equivalent).
- 0‑2 years post‑qualification experience, preferably with IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
- Team‑oriented mindset and collaborative approach.
