Financial Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Administrator to join a well‑established, family‑run independent financial planning practice in Tonbridge. You will act as the backbone of the team, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and providing proactive support to advisers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Draft Letters of Authority and valuation requests
• Create meeting packs for financial advisers
• Handle client and provider enquiries via phone and email
• Prepare basic suitability reports and process ISA top‑ups
• Manage general financial administration and workflow tasks

Required profile

• Genuine care for client outcomes and a strong client‑service mindset
• Self‑starter who takes ownership and follows through without being chased
• Adaptable, willing to assist across different business areas
• Comfortable working in a small‑business environment
• Eager to develop in the role without aspirations to become an adviser or paraplanner

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)

What we offer

• Salary £35,000 – £38,000, dependent on experience
• Hybrid working pattern: 4 days in the office, 1 day remote
