Financial Controller – Business Partner for Scale‑up Food Brand

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing food brand in London. In this business‑partner role you will work directly with the senior leadership team, shaping finance strategy and driving commercial impact across operations, sales and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial control and reporting for the scale‑up, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with operations, sales and marketing to provide commercial insights and “what‑if” analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements to support rapid growth.
• Develop and maintain financial models that support strategic decision‑making.
• Support the CFO in scaling the finance function and building new procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Management Accountant or Financial Controller.
• Background in consumer packaged goods, preferably FMCG, with understanding of direct‑to‑consumer business models.
• Strong commercial awareness and a track record of driving performance improvements.
• Hands‑on mentality, comfortable working across detail and strategy in a fast‑changing environment.
