Financial Controller – Group Consolidation & IFRS (Hybrid, London)

About the role

This senior Financial Controller position sits within a fast‑growing facilities and property services group in Central London. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own the Group consolidation process, ensure IFRS‑compliant reporting and support high‑profile M&A and integration projects across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end Group consolidation across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
• Prepare IFRS‑compliant consolidated financial statements with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
• Act as the IFRS subject‑matter expert, drafting and embedding accounting policies throughout the Group.
• Provide technical guidance on complex accounting issues such as business combinations, revenue recognition and financial instruments.
• Manage the Group audit process, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
• Partner with local finance teams across Europe to support compliance, integration and process development.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in French.
• ACA or CA qualified accountant.
• Audit training at a large or medium‑sized accounting firm.
• Significant post‑qualification experience in Group reporting and consolidations within a multinational environment.
• Deep practical knowledge of IFRS and experience implementing new standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders across countries.
