Financial Controller

About the role

We are partnering with a global law firm to appoint a Financial Controller who will lead the finance function as the firm transitions to a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) and integrates its European operations into a consolidated reporting framework. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role will be pivotal in delivering the firm’s first externally published LLP financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and publication of LLP financial statements for the first time.
• Develop and embed robust financial controls and governance processes.
• Enhance the quality and timeliness of management and statutory reporting.
• Drive process and control improvements across a complex, multi‑jurisdictional environment.
• Support strategic decision‑making with accurate financial analysis and insights.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with strong technical expertise.
• Demonstrated experience of LLP reporting within a law‑firm setting (essential).
• Proven ability to independently improve processes and controls in a complex organisation.
• Experience with IFRS and group consolidations is highly desirable.
