Financial Controller – Lead Operational Finance

About the role

A growing international media business is seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to lead its operational finance function and provide key financial insight to senior leadership. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead a team of two finance staff, oversee management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, drive process improvements, manage audits, and partner with stakeholders across the business to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of two finance staff.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with industry experience.
• Previous finance leadership experience.
• Strong reporting and business partnering skills.
• Track record of improving finance processes within an SME.
• Multinational, multi‑entity experience and revenue recognition knowledge are a plus.
