Financial Controller – £90k‑£120k + Bonus (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead a finance team of 12+ for a globally recognised consumer brand. The role offers a salary of £90,000‑£120,000 plus a 20% bonus and hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days home).

Key responsibilities

• Month‑end and year‑end close, balance‑sheet integrity, statutory reporting and audit.
• Full ownership of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including payment runs and banking controls.
• Inventory accounting: valuation, movement tracking and reconciliation.
• Maintain and strengthen the internal controls framework through an ongoing ERP programme.
• Recruit, onboard and develop the finance team as European expansion adds entities and volume.
• Partner with IT, BI and FP&A to embed and optimise the ERP system.

Required profile

• Experience leading an in‑house finance team of 10 or more.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with three or more years in a comparable Financial Controller role.
• Background in a product business (retail, consumer goods, FMCG) with inventory exposure.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and a track record designing internal controls at scale.
• International, multi‑currency, multi‑entity experience.
