Financial Planner – Client‑Focused Advisory Role

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Financial Planner to join our small, independent Chartered IFA firm in Oxford. The role is built around a client‑first ethos, delivering long‑term financial advice across pensions, investments, protection and broader planning while growing revenue in a sustainable way.

Key responsibilities

• Handle new enquiries generated from seminars, events, introductions and referrals.
• Collaborate with the wider team to convert event attendees into comprehensive advice opportunities.
• Take on selected existing client portfolios where capacity is required.
• Provide holistic financial planning covering pensions, investments, protection and related services.
• Manage sizeable protection cases, delivering fee‑generating solutions.
• Work closely with paraplanning, administration, operations, client relationship management and marketing teams.

Required profile

• Qualified Financial Planner, Chartered or willing to become Chartered.
• Proven ability to build trust with clients and professional introducers.
• Enjoys developing relationships and converting warm opportunities into long‑term planning engagements.
• Does not need to bring an existing client book.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary up to £70,000 plus £6,000 car allowance.
• Annual salary review linked to revenue and contribution.
• December bonus of approximately £5,000‑£6,000.
