About the role

A prestigious investment house is seeking a Financial Planning Director for its Bournemouth office. The role combines high‑net‑worth client advisory with leadership of a small team of planners and paraplanners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial planning advice to high‑net‑worth private clients sourced internally and externally.
• Lead and develop a team of Financial Planners and a Paraplanner, acting as the Head of Financial Planning for the office.
• Collaborate with the Investment Management team to generate client referrals and cross‑sell services.
• Drive external business development to expand the client base.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain high service quality.

Required profile

• Chartered Financial Planner qualification.
• Proven experience advising high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Leadership or mentoring experience, or a strong desire to progress into a senior managerial role.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
