Financial Reporting Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Senior Accountant to join a top‑100 accountancy practice in South East England. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified professional to work with a diverse portfolio of larger, complex clients and develop expertise in UK financial reporting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts for a varied client base, including larger and more complex businesses.
• Work on consolidated financial statements and group reporting assignments.
• Assist with complex financial reporting matters under UK GAAP and FRS 102.
• Liaise with audit teams and clients to ensure efficient, high‑quality delivery.
• Research technical accounting issues and provide practical solutions.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or nearing qualification).
• Experience preparing statutory accounts within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset and desire for long‑term career progression.
