Fire & Security Engineer – South West England

About the role

We are seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to join a growing team serving the South West and surrounding areas. The role is field‑based, covering multiple client sites and involves installing, servicing and maintaining a variety of fire and security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair and fault‑find fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access‑control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and respond to emergency call‑outs across a range of manufacturers.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear updates and advice.
• Support team members and share knowledge where required.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Minimum three years’ experience in the fire and/or security sector.
• Positive, self‑motivated attitude with a drive to seize opportunities.
• Willingness to train in additional disciplines if needed.

Required skills

• Fire alarm systems installation and maintenance.
• Intruder alarm systems installation and maintenance.
• CCTV system installation and maintenance.
• Access‑control system installation and maintenance.
