About the role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner or Paralegal to join a well‑established firm in Chelmsford. The role offers flexible working arrangements and involves managing conveyancing matters from start to post‑completion.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle all types of conveyancing transactions, including freehold, leasehold, new build and shared ownership.
  • Process re‑mortgages, transfers of equity and Help to Buy schemes.
  • Prepare and submit Land Registry applications.
  • Coordinate with clients, solicitors and mortgage lenders throughout the transaction.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in residential conveyancing.
  • Strong knowledge of freehold, leasehold and related property law.
  • Ability to work independently while delivering high‑quality service.
