Flexible Learning Partner

About the role

We are seeking a Flexible Learning Partner to provide one‑to‑one support for a nursery‑aged pupil in a primary school with a high proportion of complex SEND needs. You will work closely with staff, families and the child to create a calm, safe and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support within the nursery setting.
• Support children with complex SEND needs throughout the day.
• Create a calm, safe and engaging learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Assist with routines, communication and emotional regulation.

Required profile

• Previous SEND experience, ideally in EYFS or nursery settings.
• Confidence supporting pupils with complex needs.
• Patience, empathy and a calm classroom approach.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively with the wider school team.
• Reliability and readiness to start as soon as possible.
• Driving preferred; accessible by train and bus.
