Food & Beverage Assistant – Bank

About the role

As a Bank Food & Beverage Assistant you will help create a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents, families and visitors at a care home. You will work flexibly across shifts, supporting both the hospitality and kitchen teams to ensure meals are served efficiently and dining areas remain clean and comfortable.

Key responsibilities

• Serve meals and refreshments to residents, families and visitors.
• Prepare and set up dining areas before service.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of dining rooms and service areas.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and stock replenishment.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety standards at all times.
• Provide friendly, courteous service and respond to resident needs promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality, catering or customer‑service environments.
• Friendly, caring and professional attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of food hygiene and health‑and‑safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy setting.
