About the role
The Chelsea Harbour Hotel, part of Millennium Hotels UK, is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to support the daily operations of its restaurant, bar, room service and event areas. You will ensure high standards of service, guest satisfaction and compliance with brand and safety procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operation of restaurant, bar, room service and event service areas.
- Maintain smooth and efficient service delivery across all F&B outlets.
- Lead, motivate and support the F&B team to achieve guest satisfaction targets.
- Handle guest enquiries, feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist with coordination and execution of private events, banqueting and special functions.
- Monitor staffing levels, support rota planning and onboarding of new team members.
- Uphold presentation, cleanliness and HACCP hygiene standards.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, hotel policies and brand standards.
- Support stock control, inventory management and waste minimisation.
- Manage accurate billing, cash handling and payment procedures using MICROS systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen and other departments for seamless communication.
- Respond calmly to operational challenges and emergencies.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in food & beverage operations, preferably in hotels or luxury hospitality.
- Previous supervisory or team‑leadership experience.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for hospitality and guest service.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Positive, professional and team‑oriented attitude.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual handling tasks.
Required skills
- Experience with POS systems, ideally MICROS.
- Stock control and inventory management.
- Cash handling and accurate billing procedures.
