Food Production Operative – Temp (Day/Night Shifts)

About the role
We are seeking a Food Production Operative for temporary cover in our Chichester fresh‑produce factory. The role offers day and night 12‑hour shifts, Monday to Sunday, and provides a fast‑paced environment supporting peak production periods.
Key responsibilities
- Work on a food production line to prepare, assemble and pack fresh food products.
- Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards.
- Operate basic machinery with full training provided.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
Required profile
- Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast‑paced setting.
- Comfortable working in a chilled environment.
- Good attention to detail and a team‑player attitude.
- No prior experience required – full training will be provided.
Required skills
- Basic machinery operation.
What we offer
- Pay of £12.74 per hour for day shifts and £13.95 per hour for night shifts.
- Warm PPE (wellies, fleece, gloves) supplied.
- 12‑hour shift pattern with flexible day/night options.
