Food Technologist – Product Development & Quality

About the role

A Food Technologist is needed for a well‑established food manufacturing business in Erith. You will join a collaborative technical team delivering high‑quality products while upholding the highest food safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support product quality and ensure compliance with customer and legal requirements.
• Assist with new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions and work closely with production.
• Maintain food safety standards and ensure products consistently meet expectations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Food Technologist in a manufacturing environment.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP and food safety legislation.
• Experience with quality assurance, technical documentation and internal auditing.
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and proactive problem‑solving.
