Food Technology Teacher – Full‑time (N15)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher for a full‑time position in the N15 area of North London. The role starts in September and runs until the end of the academic year, offering a supportive school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Food Technology lessons for secondary‑school students.
• Prepare practical resources and ensure a safe, hygienic classroom environment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date safeguarding standards and record‑keeping.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (preferably) and experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
• A relevant degree or qualification in Food Technology, Hospitality, Catering, or a related subject.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references covering the last two years.

• Competitive salary between £38,000 and £50,000 per year, paid to scale.
