Food Technology Teacher – Permanent, West London

About the role
The school is seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join its secondary department on a permanent basis. You will work with students in Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering practical, curriculum‑aligned lessons that develop culinary competence and confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Design creative schemes of work that meet national curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, well‑equipped kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross‑curricular projects and departmental initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE in a relevant subject.
- Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
- Passion for high‑quality teaching and student development.
