Forensic Accountant – German Speaking

About the role

Davies Group’s forensic accounting division is expanding its German market practice and is looking for a German‑speaking Senior Accountant to join the London team. You will work on complex disputes, valuations and investigations, providing analytical support and expert testimony for commercial, family and insurance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production and other accounting data.
• Conduct physical inventory observations, price testing and source‑document examinations.
• Check and proof reports and schedules, and draft narrative sections.
• Interview clients or witnesses by phone or in person to gather information.
• Analyse and reconcile claims to final calculations and develop assignment programs.
• Research, analyse invoices and data, and attend client marketing events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience.
• Working towards a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Several years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or consulting environment.
• Fluent in German with professional working proficiency.
• Experience in forensic accounting is highly advantageous.
