Forklift Driver – General Operative (Dagenham)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Forklift Driver – General Operative to join our busy production and distribution team at our Dagenham site. You will play a key part in keeping our high‑speed bagging lines running smoothly while supporting stock movements and dispatch operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate high‑speed bagging lines to produce retail‑ready products.
• Provide forklift support to maintain efficient production flow.
• Manage stock movements and load heavy goods vehicles for dispatch.
• Assist shovel driver duties after training and step in where needed.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow daily production plans and supply picking tickets.
• Maintain and optimise machinery for smooth operations.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.

Required profile

• Valid forklift licence (essential).
• Hands‑on, can‑do attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Strong focus on quality, safety and efficiency.
• Reliable team player who takes pride in their work.
