Forklift Operator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join a leading global drinks manufacturer at its Morpeth warehouse. This temporary, ongoing position offers a competitive hourly rate of £15.25 and the chance to work in a modern, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks safely to load, unload and move materials between storage areas and delivery trucks.
• Locate, transport and store pallets, including using the ASRS system.
• Prepare trucks for client deliveries and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Report any damage to stock or equipment and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Assist with manual handling tasks such as rebuilding damaged pallets.

Required profile

• Valid, up‑to‑date forklift licence/certification.
• Previous experience operating FLT trucks (mandatory).
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliability and eligibility to work in the UK.
