Forklift Operator & Production Operative

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Forklift Operator and Production Operative to join our warehouse team in Hoddesdon. You will be responsible for safely unloading deliveries and supporting production activities throughout the shift.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a counter‑balance or reach forklift to unload up to six lorries per day.
• Check deliveries against paperwork, report any damages, shortages or discrepancies.
• Store goods in the correct warehouse locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support production tasks such as picking, packing, labeling, assembly and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Perform daily forklift safety checks and assist with stock counts.
• Keep the work area clean, organised and compliant with health & safety regulations.

Required profile

• Valid forklift licence (counter‑balance and/or reach preferred).
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
• Flexible approach and ability to multitask between forklift and production duties.
