Driver Class 2

About the role

Best Food Logistics is seeking a Class 2 LGV driver to join its flexible, multi‑temperature delivery network. You will be the face of the company, delivering food and drink products to a variety of outlets across the UK while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on time, intact and in full according to the delivery schedule.
• Complete required documentation such as delivery notes, credits and collections.
• Perform safety checks on the vehicle and record any defects.
• Collect empty equipment from customers and maintain the chill‑chain standards.
• Adhere to all driving legislation, working‑time regulations and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Participate in driver debriefs and follow any additional instructions from shift management.

Required profile

• Valid LGV Class 2 driving licence and a current CPC card.
• Willingness to work 48 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts, typically Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, starting between 03:00 am and 07:00 am.
• Ability to handle manual loading/unloading and perform multi‑drop deliveries across the UK.

Required skills

• Valid LGV Class 2 licence (CPC).
