FP&A and Treasury Analyst

About the role

We are partnering with a leading social housing provider in Birmingham to hire an FP&A and Treasury Analyst on a permanent basis. The role offers a hybrid working model with three days a week in the office and a competitive salary of £38,728 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial, treasury and property portfolio data across multiple systems.
• Support day‑to‑day treasury activities, including cash balance monitoring, cash‑flow forecasting, loan portfolio administration, covenant calculations, treasury journal processing and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist financial planning by keeping the business plan current, updating reporting dashboards and conducting financial analysis.
• Produce financial appraisals for development schemes and business opportunities to assess project viability.
• Contribute to regulatory returns such as SDR, QFS and FFR.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, reporting, controls and business insight.

Required profile

• Significant finance/treasury experience within the social housing sector.
• Experience in treasury operations and project appraisal.
• Part‑qualified (ACCA/CIMA) is desirable.
• Knowledge of social housing finance and rent standards.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
