Fractional Marketing & Communications Director

About the role

This is a senior fractional role for an established 30‑year‑old B2B brand undergoing rapid transformation. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide strategic leadership across both marketing and communications, shaping brand narrative and driving commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive brand and communications strategy.
• Expand media presence and manage public relations initiatives.
• Build and lead a dedicated marketing and communications function.
• Oversee agency relationships and ensure alignment with brand objectives.
• Deliver data‑driven commercial marketing leadership to support revenue targets.
• Advise the C‑suite on reputation management and executive communications.

Required profile

• Proven senior B2B marketing leadership experience at CMO, Marketing Director or Chief Communications Officer level.
• Strong boardroom credibility and ability to influence executive decision‑making.
• Demonstrated success in dual‑mandate roles combining communications, PR and go‑to‑market strategy.
• Experience driving pipeline development and aligning marketing with sales objectives.
