Freelance Phlebotomist – Flexible UK Home Visits

About the role

Heim is seeking experienced freelance phlebotomists to provide high‑quality blood‑sampling care in patients' homes and community settings across the UK. You will work independently while receiving support from Heim's Clinical Operations team and using their digital platform to manage appointments.

Key responsibilities

• Attend patients in their homes and community settings to perform phlebotomy appointments booked through Heim.
• Perform venepuncture safely and competently, label and handle blood samples according to protocol.
• Document appointments, clinical tasks and outcomes using the Heim digital platform.
• Identify and escalate clinical, safeguarding or safety concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months recent phlebotomy experience with confidence in independent venepuncture.
• Professional, patient‑focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) and professional indemnity insurance.
