Freelance Phlebotomist – Home Visits in Greater Manchester

About the role

Heim is looking for experienced freelance phlebotomists to provide home‑based blood sampling across Greater Manchester. You will work independently, supported by a digital mobile app and a clinical operations team, delivering high‑quality care to patients in their own homes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled blood tests during domiciliary visits, using a mobile app for guidance and documentation.
• Ensure samples are correctly labelled, stored and dispatched to the hub for courier collection.
• Record results and observations in the patient’s medical record and report any risks to the clinical team.
• Seek advice from senior colleagues or the Heim Clinical team when encountering unfamiliar situations.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months full‑time phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to commit to at least 8 hours per week between 7 am‑12 pm, with flexibility for additional shifts.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle for community travel.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (child and adult) and personal professional indemnity insurance.
• Fluent English communication skills and a reliable, honest approach to patient care.
