About the role
We are an accessible travel brand preparing to launch a new website in early‑mid October 2026. To raise awareness of the launch and position the founder as a thought‑leader in inclusive travel, we are seeking a freelance PR & Communications specialist.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive PR strategy for the pre‑launch and launch phases.
- Create a professional press pack and key messaging framework.
- Write press releases and craft compelling story angles.
- Identify and target relevant journalists, publications and media outlets across travel, business, lifestyle, accessibility and disability sectors.
- Pitch the founder and company for interviews, podcasts, radio and TV opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts.
- Support wider communications and campaign activities as needed.
Required profile
- Strong PR and media‑relations experience with a proven track record of securing coverage and interview opportunities.
- Existing contacts within journalism and media.
- Excellent storytelling and copy‑writing abilities.
- Experience with founder‑led, travel, accessibility or purpose‑driven brands is a plus.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on, fast‑moving work style.
