Freelance SEO Specialist

About the role

MediWorks Digital, a London‑based medical marketing agency, is expanding its freelance bench of SEO specialists. You will support a variety of client projects, ranging from recurring campaign optimisation to one‑off audits and ad‑hoc tasks, helping UK clinics and private practices grow their online presence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive SEO audits for healthcare clients.
• Develop and implement on‑page and off‑page optimisation strategies for ongoing campaigns.
• Provide regular performance reports and recommendations to improve organic traffic.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align SEO work with broader marketing initiatives.
• Handle ad‑hoc SEO requests and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client projects.
• Based in a UK or European time zone.
• Agency experience, preferably within the healthcare sector, is a strong plus.

• Proficiency with Surfer SEO.
