Front of House / Reception Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Front of House/Reception Manager to lead the spa and club front‑of‑house team in Tetbury. You will ensure a seamless, welcoming experience for all guests while maintaining high standards of service and facility upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front‑of‑house operations during assigned shifts, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead and motivate the team through regular meetings, performance monitoring and bi‑annual appraisals.
• Handle customer enquiries, bookings, complaints and VIP arrivals efficiently.
• Manage staff rotas, absences, holidays and payroll processing.
• Maintain spotless public areas, coordinate with cleaning staff and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Supervise food and beverage service, control stock and deliver allergen training.
• Conduct inventory checks of towels, robes and other supplies, and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with Spa Manager and Director on revenue‑growth initiatives and treatment availability.

Required profile

• Proven leadership ability in a fast‑paced hospitality or wellness environment.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Strong organisational talent with attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts.
