About the role
Accor is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to join the Ibis Bristol Centre team. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will ensure a seamless guest experience while leading the reception team.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily front‑office operations, ensuring smooth check‑in/check‑out processes.
- Train, induct and coach new staff to meet Accor standards.
- Handle complex guest enquiries, complaints and special requests.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance and Food & Beverage to fulfil guest needs.
- Manage cash register, daily closing, invoice control and credit handling.
- Participate in monthly team meetings and maintain health‑safety and sustainability standards.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service orientation with a proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage a team and resolve issues quickly.
- Knowledge of hotel safety, fire evacuation and accessibility procedures.
Required skills
- Proficiency with hotel information‑technology systems for reservations and billing.
- Cash handling and basic accounting procedures.
