About the role

Accor is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to join the Ibis Bristol Centre team. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will ensure a seamless guest experience while leading the reception team.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise daily front‑office operations, ensuring smooth check‑in/check‑out processes.
  • Train, induct and coach new staff to meet Accor standards.
  • Handle complex guest enquiries, complaints and special requests.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance and Food & Beverage to fulfil guest needs.
  • Manage cash register, daily closing, invoice control and credit handling.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings and maintain health‑safety and sustainability standards.

Required profile

  • Strong customer‑service orientation with a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and resolve issues quickly.
  • Knowledge of hotel safety, fire evacuation and accessibility procedures.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with hotel information‑technology systems for reservations and billing.
  • Cash handling and basic accounting procedures.
