Frontend Developer – React & TypeScript (Onsite, Halifax)

About the role

Polysights is looking for a Frontend Developer to turn polished Figma designs into responsive, production‑ready interfaces for both desktop and mobile. You will work on‑site in Halifax, collaborating closely with designers and backend engineers to ship high‑quality features quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Convert Figma designs into clean, responsive UI using React and TypeScript.
• Implement new screens, dashboards, components, tables, charts, modals, and navigation flows.
• Extend the existing codebase while preserving existing functionality.
• Build reusable UI components and maintain a scalable front‑end architecture.
• Integrate front‑end interfaces with APIs, live data streams, and backend services.
• Handle loading, error, empty, filter, sorting, pagination, and real‑time data states.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development, debugging, and refactoring.
• Optimize performance, accessibility, and usability across devices and browsers.
• Test, debug, and refine features to ensure reliability.
