Full-time Year 2 Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Year 2 teacher to join the Key Stage 1 team at a welcoming primary school in Camden. The role is full‑time, based on‑site, and offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with strong leadership and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for KS1 SATs using supportive and motivating approaches.
• Use assessment data to monitor progress and close learning gaps.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment framework.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate learning for varying abilities.
• Positive and engaging teaching style.
• Based locally in Camden.
