Full‑time Optometrist – Retail Optical

About the role
Join Asda Opticians as a full‑time Optometrist delivering high‑quality eye care in a busy retail environment. You will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, fit contact lenses and support extended service contracts for NHS patients.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex eye examinations for customers.
- Provide contact lens assessments and fittings.
- Deliver extended service examinations under NHS contracts.
- Collaborate with the Dispensing Optician Manager to train and coach colleagues.
- Maintain departmental standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council.
- Commitment to patient‑centred care and high service standards.
- Willingness to pursue additional accreditations as needed.
