Fund Accountant – Private Equity

About the role

This position is with a high‑growth investment management business that manages £250 million of assets, primarily for private‑equity and family‑office clients. The Fund Accountant will join a small but expanding finance team, reporting to senior stakeholders and gaining exposure to both accounting and investment analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end statutory accounts and quarterly management accounts with commentary.
• Perform fund accounting tasks, including drawdowns from investors and variance analysis (budget vs. actual).
• Analyse investment performance and support commercial investment analysis.
• Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance duties.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Interest or experience in investment, fund or financial services.
• Motivation to work in a small, fast‑growing business.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to process improvement.
