Fundraising & Partnerships Manager

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and proactive fundraising professional to drive income growth, secure strategic partnerships and support a charity making a real difference in local communities. The role is based in Sussex with a hybrid working model and offers a competitive salary.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver fundraising initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.
• Build, manage and grow corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
• Research, cultivate and secure new income opportunities across multiple fundraising streams.
• Prepare compelling proposals, presentations and partnership agreements.
• Maintain strong relationships with corporate supporters, individual donors, community groups and volunteers.
• Monitor fundraising performance, income targets and budgets.
• Maintain accurate supporter data and produce reports to aid decision‑making.
• Represent the organisation at events, meetings and networking opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maximise fundraising opportunities and supporter engagement.

Required profile

• Motivated and relationship‑focused fundraising professional with a track record of generating income and creating successful partnerships.
• Confident communicator with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience in fundraising, partnerships, business development or account management.
• Strong networking and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proven experience developing bids, proposals or sponsorship opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary £36,000‑£41,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• 30 or 37 hours per week with options for a 4‑day week or compressed hours.
• Hybrid working model (office in Sussex and remote).
