Furniture Fitter / Installer

About the role

Armstrong Vinton Furniture is seeking an experienced Furniture Fitter/Installer to join its workshop team. You will work on high‑end bespoke projects, translating technical drawings into flawless finished pieces for architects and interior designers across London and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and follow detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Assemble and install bespoke furniture and architectural joinery on site and in the workshop.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised work environment.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, and other craftsmen to meet project deadlines.
• Travel to client sites and, if required, work abroad.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in furniture fitting and bench work.
• Strong eye for detail and high standards of craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel.

• Technical drawing interpretation.
