Gallery Assistant Internship – Art Gallery

About the role

Join Galeries Bartoux as a Gallery Assistant Intern and support the daily operations of a leading international art gallery in London. You will work closely with the Gallery Manager, interacting with visitors, assisting the sales team, and contributing to the gallery’s vibrant cultural programming.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers, providing clear information about artists and artworks.
• Support administrative tasks and help the team meet sales targets.
• Assist with light art handling and maintain the gallery’s organization.
• Collaborate on event planning with the marketing department.
• Maintain daily upkeep of the gallery space.
• Create pictures and videos of artworks for social networks and the website.

Required profile

• Strong sales and interpersonal skills with a team‑spirit.
• Interest in the art market and luxury environment.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities (oral and written).
• Motivated, dynamic, rigorous, positive, responsible and adaptable.
• Fluent English; additional language is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of computer tools.
