About the role

Pearson is seeking a qualified examiner to mark GCE A Level Economics B (2016 Specification) scripts. The work is performed remotely using the ePEN digital marking system and follows strict examination procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Mark GCE A Level Economics B (2016 Specification) scripts using the ePEN system, ensuring adherence to the mark scheme and examination regulations.
• Submit marking samples to the Team Leader by the agreed deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records and complete all required administrative tasks.
• Participate in training sessions scheduled between May and June.

Required profile

• One academic year of recent teaching experience (within the last 8 years) in Economics at the relevant qualification level.
• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least one year of undergraduate teaching experience within the last three years.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet marking milestones.

Required skills

• High level subject knowledge in Economics to apply the mark scheme accurately.
• Proficiency with the ePEN digital marking platform.
